ATTRACTIONS IN THE AREA:

MARY'S SANCTUARY IN LORETTO

The beginnings of the Marian Sanctuary in Loretto date back to 1928. On March 27, 1929, the official name of the town was changed to Loretto, referring to the Sanctuary in Loreto, Italy. In 1981, a statue of Our Lady of Loreto—a faithful copy of the statue from the Sanctuary in Loreto, Italy—was brought to Polish Loretto.

PARK AND OBELISK OF KAROL FERDINAND WAZA IN WYSZKÓW

In the second half of the 16th century, the Bishop of Płock, Piotr Dunin Wolski, commissioned the construction of an impressive manor house. Later, it became a favorite place for Karol Ferdinand Waza. To this day, an obelisk dedicated to his memory, funded by Jan Kazimierz, has been preserved. This work was designed by the Italian Jan Baptista Gisleni, the court architect of the Wazas.

WHISTLE MUSEUM IN GWIZDAŁY

The Whistle Museum was established in May 1999. The proposal to create it was made by Mr. Witold Tchórzewski, a radiologist and collector from Warsaw, who generously donated 52 whistles to start. Today, the museum has about 1500 whistles and other exhibits.

ARMORY MUSEUM IN THE CASTLE IN LIW

The castle was built in the 15th century as a border guard post. It is currently one of the largest weapon museums in Poland, showcasing its main exhibition of white arms, firearms, and pole arms from the 15th to the 20th century. The museum also hosts galleries of temporary exhibitions showcasing collections from other museums and works by local artists. Each year, the International Tournament of Flavors on the Trail of the Great Lithuanian Route and the International Knight Tournament take place at the Castle in Liw.

MUSEUM OF MARIA ŻYWIRSKA IN BRAŃSZCZYK

Start May with a picnic featuring a DJ and barbecue by picturesque ponds, and in the evening relax with outdoor cinema under the stars.

May 2nd
In the morning enjoy a delicious breakfast, then take advantage of the extra-paid attraction – a kayaking trip, which will conclude at the bar area with a barbecue. Family animations, a treasure hunt, and an evening bonfire with live music are the perfect way to spend the day.

May 3rd
You can start the morning with yoga or survival training for men, and for the youngest, we offer a day full of animations under the care of our animators. In the evening we invite you to a mini disco and dance party.

May 4th
To conclude the May holiday, we propose morning yoga or another kayaking trip (for an additional fee), to recharge your batteries before returning to everyday life.
